About Ben
I work on songs every single day of my life from all areas including the melodies, the lyrics, the musical parts, dynamics, weaknesses, etc.
In addition to this, listening and dissecting released music is a major part of musical growth as a songwriter and musician to ensure your ears are available to opportunity.
We’ll spend time doing exercises in both writing and practicing your instrument to ensure they align with one another consistently.
I can also teach music production if wanting to learn how to DIY record and capture your own productions.

My name is Ben, I’m a 30-year-old musician, songwriter, and producer from Nashville, TN highly passionate about the subject of music and teaching the art of music and songwriting.
I’ve been songwriting for 20 years and write music via guitar, piano, drums, bass, and lyrics. In my lessons, we’ll connect with each other over musical likeness and seek out how to make you the best version of yourself playing instruments and expressing your creativity.
I teach music theory, however, I strongly focus on ear training and learning to navigate music in writing and playing via listening. We’ll explore a wide variety of different music genres and tackle the practical matters of how to achieve direction in those genres as a songwriter and musician.
