About Emma
I have been tutoring college-level classes for two years. Feedback I have received from students always includes how they prefer my teaching style as opposed to their professors. I am able to simplify complex topics and make them more digestible for students. My goal as a tutor is to make learning fun but also teach you how to teach yourself!

I tend to teach students through a visual approach by drawing out concepts and/or finding easy-to-follow short videos that help to simplify intimidating concepts. I find it most helpful to relate the learning material to things that students are familiar with such as their favorite sport, food, hobby etc... If a student cannot teach me what I just taught them, there's still some work to be done! My current tutoring experience has all been at the collegiate level, but I am open to all levels of learners. I love to make learning not only fun, but also applicable to real life!
