About Pranay
Despite, myself being a sophomore in high school and only being 15. I have tutored kids and increased their test scores and geometric knowledge. Geometry is one of the most important math classes, as it will be used in late Algebra II with the introduction of the unit circle, pre-calculus, and even calculus. I took geometry in 7th grade as it was a 10th grade course and I am going to be doing AP Calculus AB in my sophomore year. I am fun and entertaining and have made students go from 30s, 40s, and even 50s all the way to high 80s and 90s. Myself I ended Geometry with a 100%, scoring a 99 on my final. I am your perfect choice for the success in your mathematical prowess.

My teaching methods adapt towards how my student wants to learn. If my student feels like they don't have an idea with what they need help with, letting them do problems themselves and then figuring out flaws in their works will allow myself to make classes productive and fun as I love to do games and activities to get information across my students smart minds. Comparatively speaking to other tutors, Im younger and understand this generation a lot as I am also a part of this tech-savvy, and modern culture. A typical lesson plan would start off with a fun question of the day which I discuss with the student for around 5-10 minutes. Then we begin by doing a Do-Now and attack the flaws of the student in the lesson. The Do-Now usually will be 1-2 questions, maybe 3 depending on the concept. Then we move on to the lesson that the student and I will be learning and will focus on the lesson for a solid 30-40 minutes. After that we play some kind of fun review activity and end off with an exit ticket. Homework won't be something I give to the students often as students have their own school work and activities other than our tutoring sessions. I will be doing practice exams with the student before any major quiz or test the student may have the next day, in order for them to score well. My lessons are for anyone who has finished Algebra I or Algebra II and are currently going into geometry in the upcoming school year. Classes will be adapted based on whatever time the student prefers.
