About Everly
I am an experienced piano tutor with 18 years of teaching high school students, college students, and adults. I have guided nearly 300 students, helping them grow technically, musically, and personally.
My teaching philosophy is centred on patience, understanding, and encouragement. I believe piano lessons should be clear, structured, and enjoyable. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style, making the learning process effective and motivating.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as hand technique, finger strength, posture, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. I also help students understand musical expression so they can play confidently. Real songs and practical exercises make lessons fun and relatable.
A key achievement is helping students overcome performance anxiety and build self-confidence in their playing. Many learners have improved steadily under my guidance.
My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where students enjoy learning piano and achieve long-term growth in music.

My piano teaching methodology is flexible, student-focused, and practical. I believe open communication helps students learn with confidence. I encourage questions and provide clear explanations so students fully understand each lesson. Lessons are adjusted according to the student’s learning speed and style.
I use real-life examples such as familiar melodies, live performance situations, and practice case studies to connect theory with practice. Demonstrations and guided exercises help students improve technique and expression.
In addition to piano lessons, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, chord progressions, rhythm control, sight reading, ear training, and basic improvisation. These skills help students become confident and independent musicians. My aim is to make piano learning enjoyable and meaningful.
