About Joseph
I have worked for the Canadian Space Agency for almost 15 years on a space telescope project named the "Ultra Violet Imaging Telescope", and have a degree in astrophysics from the University of Calgary. I love working with little children as young as first-grade elementary, and get a thrill from witnessing them learn, and I also find great satisfaction in knowing that a young adult will ace their high school exams with confidence and walk into their finals with ease, calm, and confidence. For the young adults who have a wider range of cognitive interests, I am open to discuss any subject in the sciences and also in philosophy and logic, and parents and students should be absolutely assured that such subject matter will always be wholesome, family-friendly, safe, and traditional.

I am highly adaptable to any student's teaching requirements and closely monitor what works best for a person's learning style. While some students do well with learning how to self-teach by solving problems on their own, other students require demonstrations and worked-out problems before they feel comfortable proceeding. I am highly attuned to a student's needs and always offer lots of encouragement and positive language to help build confidence in mathematical and scientific and in general all types of thinking. I have experience teaching young people anywhere from first grade elementary through high school honours graduate, and truly enjoy working with children at any age. My desire is to create critical and intelligent thinkers who can evaluate information independently, and of course, to provide students with the necessary abilities and knowledge to function successfully as adults.
