About Rafael
I was born in Spain. I was raised in Mexico, and then I moved back to Spain and then came to the USA. I am currently going into my third year of college. Over the summer, I am doing a part time internship and looking for other ways to get experience, learn, give back to the community, and earn money! I am hoping to leverage my diverse background to teach Spanish!

I am a believer that learning a language should have a real world application manner and be enjoyable. My philosophy is that the best way to learn a language is in an environment through conversation with native speakers, rather than boring grammar based lessons, and enjoyment and fun should be a top priority for students to actually stay consistent throughout the years. I'd rather have a student actually become fluent in Spanish by having fun over 10 years than having a student progress through boring lessons only to quit after their last year of high school and throw all the years of learning out the window. I know the Spanish, Mexican, and American perspective in Spanish language and culture to perfection! I even know Spanish from other Latin American countries because of all my latin friends in the US! Having experienced Spanish classes in the US as a student with Americans, I know their struggles and the teacher's weaknesses, and I will address exactly that. If you want a fun conversationalist Spanish lesson, I am your guy.
