About Katy
I hold a Master’s degree in Spanish Studies and have 6 years of experience teaching Spanish to students of different ages and backgrounds. My interest in languages began with a curiosity about communication and culture, which later grew into a strong passion for teaching. I believe that learning Spanish should be simple, engaging, and useful in daily life. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and building confidence step by step.
I adjust my teaching approach based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided carefully to build a strong base, while intermediate learners are supported in improving fluency and understanding. Advanced students focus on refining their communication and expressing ideas naturally. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish culture, music, and everyday conversations, which helps me bring real-life context into my lessons. This makes learning more meaningful and engaging. Helping learners grow in confidence and communicate effectively in Spanish is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students build confidence in speaking while also understanding the structure of the language clearly. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, verb usage, listening skills, and sentence building so students can communicate in real-life situations with ease. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving step by step.
Lessons are planned based on each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic vocabulary, simple phrases, and pronunciation practice to build confidence. Intermediate learners focus on improving grammar accuracy, expanding vocabulary, and developing stronger speaking skills. Advanced students work on fluency, complex expressions, and understanding cultural context. Each lesson includes practical examples, guided practice, and detailed feedback to ensure steady progress.
The goal of my Spanish lessons is to help students communicate clearly and confidently in different situations. They learn to express ideas naturally, understand spoken language, and build strong communication skills. Lessons are designed to be practical and easy to follow, helping students gain long-term confidence in using Spanish effectively.
