About Joanna
MY EXPERIENCE:
I have over 8 years experience teaching Spanish in a language schools, public schools, 1to1 and group courses. I helped many students to get their DELE and GCSE exams.
I started teaching Spanish during my studies and after graduation, I continued it. I worked for many languages schools and some public schools too.

MY METHODOLOGY:
I use the communicative method in my classes as I want my students to speak Spanish fluently without stress when they go to the Spanish-speaking countries. I try to maintain the lesson in a real environment as you can make use of the language when you need (at restaurant, hotel, airport, shop, doctor`s and many more). I use many dynamic and interactive exercises and I am very creative. I tend to explain the complicated material in a very simple and easy way as you can understand it easily.
Before the first lesson, I always prepare an individual program for each student as I know everyone is different and everyone has different needs.I am very patient and always make sure you understand everything by using different types of exercises.
MATERIALS I USE IN LESSONS: flashcards, photos, music, board games newspaper articles, videos (for introducing new vocabulary, practice the old one and for conversational aims). I provide all educational resources that you need so you don`t have to be worry about them.

ABOUT ME:
I have been teaching the Spanish language in all levels (children and adults) for 8 years and I am graduated from Spanish Philology (specialization: teaching). I also have a QTS (Qualified Teaching Status). I love working with people and I am a very open-minded, flexible and smiling person.
I know perfectly Spanish culture but as well as Cuban and Mexican one. After finish my studies I moved to Miami (US) to work in Cuban radio and human rights organization so I had the opportunity to know very well Latin culture, especially the Cuban and Mexican ones.
