About Isabelle
I am a trilingual student (of Mexican and Romanian heritage) in London at SOAS University getting a degree in International Relations and Development Studies. I have mentored and tutored GCSE students in Spanish and French since my A-Level years and also tutor GCSE students in English Literature and English Language so I have an enhanced DBS certificate. I have taught young people over a 1-1 basis as well as, tutoring groups of around 20 people, all of whom have been able to reach their goals. I love teaching and am passionate about working with children, I am keen to help others develop and progress at school.
I deliver my lessons and courses online the way I would have liked to have learned my English: enjoyable, interactive, effective, simple. Call me and we can decide on an appointment and figure out a lesson plan. The first class is free of charge

The first lesson is to assess the needs and knowledge of the student, while also taking the time to conversate about which methodology suits the student the best. During this session, we discuss goals and objectives regarding the language to create a plan tailored to their needs.
My teaching approach is totally catered to each person- some people prefer really structured classes, some prefer a more relaxed format; some people need extra help with grammar whilst others need to focus on their comprehension skills. We can figure out the best structure for you, together!
Spanish classes include Speaking, Reading comprehension, Writing, Listening comprehension and practice.
For each lesson, I will provide the student with activities to enhance their learning, these activities can either be completed for a deadline or just as extra support. They will also be evaluated by me and checked during the lessons to provide a more effective feedback.
After 5 lessons there will be a formative assessment to check for understanding and progress. As well as, a small meeting where the achievement of certain goals will be discussed and if the student (or parent) desires to continue working with me.

Details
The first lesson is a taster class of 45 mins in order for the student to experience what a typical class will be like. Each class thereafter is £20 for 60 mins.
