About Nora
My interest in Spanish grew from a fascination with languages and the rich diversity of Spanish-speaking cultures. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Studies before earning a PhD in Spanish Language Acquisition. During my 5 years of teaching experience, I have helped learners develop stronger communication skills and greater cultural understanding.
I believe language learning should be interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on helping students gain confidence while developing practical language abilities. I enjoy designing lessons that keep learners engaged and motivated throughout their journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Hispanic literature, participating in language communities, and studying language-learning methods. These experiences enrich my lessons and help me provide authentic cultural insights. Helping students achieve fluency and confidence in Spanish continues to be a rewarding part of my work.

My Spanish lessons are centered on practical communication and long-term language development. Students work on pronunciation, grammar understanding, vocabulary expansion, listening skills, reading practice, and conversational fluency through engaging and structured activities. I encourage learners to actively use Spanish in every lesson to build confidence naturally.
As students progress, we explore complex sentence structures, cultural topics, authentic resources, idiomatic language, and real-world communication situations. Lessons include discussions, roleplays, listening exercises, and guided speaking activities that help learners apply Spanish effectively. Every session is tailored to suit personal goals and interests.
I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with the language. Mistakes are viewed as an important part of growth. My goal is to help learners become confident communicators who can use Spanish comfortably in a wide range of situations.
