About Amie
I am a recent First Class graduate in BA English and Spanish, having gone from being a complete beginner (A1) to know being of an advanced level (C1). As well as my degree, I achieved the Xavier Giralt Prize for Excellence in the Spanish language upon graduating. In addition, I spent a year living abroad in Spain, I worked as an English language assistant in a Primary school as well as giving private tuition lessons in the evenings, so have plenty of experience with teaching languages to non-natives.

I have taught English to students of both primary and secondary age, and my teaching methods differ depending on the level. I favour interactive activities, such as word games, activities and quizzes. In my lessons I like to dedicate time to the three main language skills: reading, writing and conversation.
