About Portia
With a First Class degree in Spanish and English Literature and a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law, I am an experienced tutor with a passion for widening access to education and promoting social justice. I have varied teaching experience, from tutoring Spanish GCSE and A-Level students online and in person and delivering intensive revision courses for secondary school students, to implementing a Spanish curriculum in a primary school that lacked teaching resources and delivering educational workshops to individuals with learning disabilities. I have consistently achieved excellent academic results, including the highest results in my year at university for Spanish, and enjoy sharing my techniques for boosting fluency and exam results with students, while inspiring their interest in the many vibrant cultures of Spain and Latin America.
