About Maeve
I have over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a Graduate Certificate in Spanish-English Interpretation. My specialty is Spanish for advocacy, social justice, and community work. We focus on the language you’ll need for human rights campaigns, activism, and public health outreach. Lessons are designed around realistic scenarios you might encounter in the field. This could include preparing a speech, leading a workshop, or creating outreach materials. I emphasize clear, culturally sensitive communication. My teaching blends vocabulary building with hands-on practice. I work with students from many backgrounds—activists, health professionals, and community leaders. Every class is interactive and adaptable. I want you to feel confident using Spanish to connect with people and share important messages. We focus on both the “what” and the “how” of communication.
