About James
I will be completely honest with anyone who is reading this - I have not formally taught anyone in a setting such as this, but I don’t want this to feel like a task or an assignment. Or an obligation. I simply want to share my love for the language by sharing my advice and experience with anyone who would like to learn how to communicate formally and informally. Look at it this way - if a guy who looks like me got around for 9+ years in South America, you will have a pretty good chance too.

I lived in South America half my life and learned the Spanish language not through textbooks or lessons, but by simple conversation. I want to pass on what I have learned to those who may seem wary about learning Spanish, and demonstrate simple techniques that will build one’s understanding of the language. Fair warning: this is Castellano, a regional variant of Spanish that is rarely heard in the USA. It is, in my humble opinion, the best Spanish dialect in the world to speak and essential for those who travel to South America.
