About Zara
I am super passionate about teaching because I really love learning, but only really discovered that since leaving school, and believe it was partly do to with the formalities of having to pass an exam, not being able to learn at your own pace, and about your favourite topics. I want to make learning fun and rewarding, and doing it 1 on 1 is a much more effective way of reaching our goals.

From experience, I believe a student knows what they need, so for tutorials I would ask my student to highlight 2 areas in which they struggle the most or want to improve the most, and focus on each for 20 minutes. Longer than that, interest and focus would be lost, and any shorter, we would not gain much progress!
The 20 minutes spare of an hour tutorial would either be vocab, verbs, or learning something new. It’s hard to outline my lesson structures as it varies from student to student - I tailor each tutorial to best suit their needs.
