About Sara
I have studied two degrees at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid: Political Science and Law. I have just moved to the UK to pursue my studies at Uni of Sussex, in a MA in Geopolitics and Grand Strategy.
I have a background both in legal work (i.e legal consultant) and giving Spanish classes to children and adults. I have worked especially with children, as I have been a instructor in summer camps for kids the past 4 summers.

I think the best way to learn anything, including a language is by understanding, not by just memorizing. I have given class to Spanish children that after years of learning at school couldn't speak 3 words. Therefore, I consider that in order to achieve competences in a foreign language is very important to understand.
My teaching methods include (depending on the age and level of the person):
1- individual exam to evaluate the initial level
2-appropriate tools to develop and evolve in Spanish
3- learning through songs, mimics, drawing (for small children, of course)
4- learning Spanish grammar, vocabulary, etc through visual material (films, speeches, etc)
5- leaning through a topic the person likes, because I believe that if you are already interested, it is easier.
