About Lady
Middle school Spanish teacher. Responsible for up to 150 students across multiple grades in any given year. Assisted in the updating & revitalizing of the schools’ Spanish curriculum. An active participant in all school functions & events including but not limited to the Honor’s Society, Cultural events, Diversity & Inclusion, fundraisers. An ambassador & steward of the importance of teaching, promoting and supporting education. • Teacher of Spanish curriculum • Developed and continually update comprehensive lesson plans which on occasion are highlighted during staff meetings and at times customized by colleagues • Support and advise on behavioral improvement plans • Advise and supplement special education coverage interim needs • Active Cultural events organizer • Continually develop & update and evolve lesson plans to accommodate all learning styles • Actively mentor and tutor students • Directly assisted in the restructuring of school’s Spanish curriculum & continue to assist in maintaining relevancy • Experienced peer to peer collaborator • Mentor & adviser to colleagues new to the field of teaching • Provide interim substitute teaching as deemed necessary without impacting primary teaching responsibilities
