About Xidikari
My name is Xidi. I have lived in South Africa since 2003, but I was born in Venezuela. I discovered my passion for teaching languages and became a language teacher. I have been teaching Spanish since 2012, and later I acquired a 300-hour TEFL Diploma and began teaching English as a Second Language. I am passionate about languages and speak Spanish, English, and a bit of French. Recently, I completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Development - Montessori Education.

I focus on the individual needs of each student, employing Total Physical Response (TPR) and a communicative approach for younger learners and beginners, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience tailored to each student's learning style and pace. I am proficient in both Spanish and English, and I teach in both languages. Students can expect a lot of conversation practice, visual props, and a calm, supportive environment. I encourage making mistakes as a natural part of the learning process to build confidence in language skills. My lessons are aimed at beginner and intermediate levels of Spanish for children (grade R to grade 12) and adults.
