About Celeste
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and have been teaching the language for over 5 years. My passion for Spanish began during my own language-learning journey, which deepened through academic study and immersion experiences. Teaching has allowed me to share that passion while helping others achieve fluency and confidence in their own language goals. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of varying backgrounds—from young learners to adults—tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and skill levels. I focus on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and asking questions. My teaching emphasizes both accuracy and expression, with a balance of grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. What drives me most is seeing the progress my students make and the pride they feel when they start expressing themselves more naturally in Spanish. I enjoy incorporating culture, music, and real-life situations into lessons to make learning not just educational but also engaging and relevant. My goal is always to make the language come alive in meaningful, memorable ways. Outside of teaching, I continue to learn and grow by exploring Spanish-language literature, staying updated with educational methods, and engaging in multicultural communities. I believe learning a language is more than just studying words—it’s about connecting with people and perspectives. I aim to equip every student not just with skills, but with confidence and curiosity to use Spanish in the real world.
