About Curtis
Experienced Spanish tutor, who emphasizes the basics, grammar, and conversational skills. I have tutored beginning Spanish for young adult and grade school students. My tutoring has been with groups, one-on-one and online. I focus on proper Spanish pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary building. My sessions are tailored through lesson plans as well as the needs of the student.
I am a retired (but not tired) college instructor and enjoy helping students of all ages in their journey to master Spanish. I have many years of practical experience in conversational Spanish, and my skills have served me well during my frequent visits to Mexico, and vacation trip to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
I tailor my instruction to the student's level, skill, and preferences to focus on problem areas. If you're having difficulty in class, want to brush up on grammar, vocabulary or conversation, I am the tutor you are looking for.

Students can expect a skill-building approach that: (1) brings them up to date with their class work, and (2) gives them a formula for remembering and imprinting Spanish grammar. I emphasize vocabulary building, verbs, and conversation practice.
Lessons are geared to beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish students.
