Olá! I'm Letícia — a passionate Brazilian actress, screenwriter, and language enthusiast with a deep love for communication and cultural exchange. I bring my experience from theater, film, and storytelling into every Portuguese lesson, helping students not only speak the language, but truly feel comfortable using it in real-life situations. Having lived in Europe for seven years and being fluent in English, Italian and French, I understand the challenges of learning a new language — and I know how to make the process natural, practical, and even fun. In our lessons, you’ll find a patient and supportive teacher who values clear pronunciation, vocabulary building, and genuine conversation. I tailor each session to your rhythm and goals, always encouraging progress without pressure. My teaching approach is centred on real, natural conversation. I believe language is best learned through use — so my lessons are highly interactive, focused on building vocabulary, improving pronunciation, and gaining confidence when speaking.
I use a flexible and student-centred method. Each lesson is tailored to your needs and goals. We’ll start with topics you’re interested in (daily life, travel, work, culture, etc.), and from there, I’ll introduce vocabulary, correct pronunciation, and suggest targeted exercises to reinforce what we’ve practiced.
A typical lesson includes:
A warm-up conversation
A guided discussion based on a chosen theme
Correction and explanation of key vocabulary or pronunciation points
Light follow-up exercises to practice in between sessions
What sets me apart as a tutor is my background as a Brazilian actress and screenwriter — I work with the rhythm and emotion of language, and I bring that expressiveness into my teaching. I also speak fluent English, Italian and French, which helps me support students with different native languages.
These lessons are ideal for beginner to intermediate adult learners, especially those who want to improve their speaking skills, fluency, and vocabulary through a relaxed, yet focused approach.
