About Sunali
Hello
My name is Sunali .. And I wanted to give my students an experience with English and American culture in situations that were as natural as possible. I also wanted my students to be able to answer questions that most people in a friendly atmosphere would be asked.
Those questions were (among many others):
What is your name?
Are you married?
Do you have children?
Where are you from?
I also wanted my students to understand that if people are laughing at them, it is only a normal aspect of language learning. In fact, I was not at all upset when I mispronounced their names.
I let them make mistakes, because the more mistakes they made, the more they learned. I introduced them to songs, since that is a part of American culture also. I gave them homework to go out and interview Americans.
One thing that is difficult for all foreign speakers of English is to answer “yes/no” questions. The easiest answer consists of one word, but that may appear unfriendly. Better is three words, but that is where the problem is.

Well there are multiple steps to learn English.
Improve your understanding. Expand your vocabulary. Try to pickup as many words as possible. Word power made easy is a good resource.
Speak more. Try to participate in debates, speeches and other spoken English events.
Write. Write blogs, write on Quora. This can make you money if you do it well.
Practice. Watch English movies, music, and TV shows. They are amazing, a good source of entertainment and a good way to get some accent training.
Execute. Now you're ready to communicate. Talk to friends. Go to meet ups. Go to “high profile” events (where the vast majority is English speaking. Startup Expos, college fests, Quora meet-up, etc. are good examples). Make vlogs. This will make you a pro.
