I am a 5th year teacher out of New York and have spent the last 7 years working with students with learning disabilities or with students that need any extra assistance. I love working with people that are invested in their education and want to work together to figure it out.

My teaching method involves keeping students moving through the lesson and varying the tasks used to cover subjects. My typical lesson plan is usually split up into about 6 steps including introduction, scaffolded instruction, independent practice, and assessment. I find my ability to build relationships with students and my willingness to search for a method to support learning are my greatest strengths. My lessons are mainly for elementary students; however, I have previously tutored up to 10th grade in English, Algebra I and II, and social studies.
