About Shahmeen
I have had over 2 years of experience in teaching youth, ranging from ages pre-kindy to high school. This allows me to understand the intricacies and the needs of individual students and develop targeted and personalized approaches to address their unique learning styles. I have over 2 years of experience teaching youth, ranging from pre-kindy to high school.
I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond simply imparting information; it involves fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their uncertainties.
Your first lesson will consist of extensive and thorough assessment of the student's abilities to gauge weaknesses and strengths. The minimum lesson time is 1 hour lessons, per week.
From there, each lesson is catered to the individual student and a long-term plan is made on their improvement. After each lesson, a feedback sheet will be sent to the parents to ensure they are updated on their child's improvement and progress.
I have students from ages k-12 who have gone from getting results in the C range to 100% in their assessments.
I offer tutoring for HSC Students in the following subjects:
- HSC English Extension 1 & 2
- HSC English Advanced
- HSC English Standard
- HSC CAFS
- HSC PDHPE
All other subjects offered:
