About Jess
With over 8 years of classroom experience and 3+ years as an online English teacher, I’m passionate about helping children from diverse backgrounds and cultures unlock their full potential in English. I hold a BA(Hons) Degree in Early Education with Qualified Teacher Status, specialising in teaching children aged 4-12+ at Pre A1 - A2+ levels using the CEFR framework.

Placement Test: Every student begins with a placement test to determine their current English level. This ensures that lessons are perfectly aligned with their abilities, whether they are at Pre A1 or A2+.
Interest-Driven Learning: I craft lessons that draw upon the child's interests and goals, making learning more relevant and enjoyable. This approach not only enhances engagement but also helps in the retention of new concepts.
Conversational Focus: I encourage active conversation throughout each lesson. This not only builds confidence in speaking but also improves pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension.
2. Lesson Structure:
25-Minute Sessions: Perfect for younger children or those who prefer shorter, focused bursts of learning.
50-Minute Sessions: Ideal for older children or those who can handle more in-depth learning in one sitting.
3. Qualifications and Experience:
Highly Experienced Tutor: I hold a BA(Hons) Degree in Early Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
Diverse Teaching Experience: With over 8 years in a primary school classroom and more than 3 years as an online English teacher, I’ve taught children aged 4-12+ from around the world, all at Pre A1 - A2+ levels using the CEFR framework. My experience spans across various cultural backgrounds, allowing me to adapt my teaching methods to suit each child's unique learning style.
