I have been an educator for 10 years teaching 1st-6th grade. I have a special passion for Math, although I will always add that Reading is a major part of understanding Math.

I like to get back to the basics in math. I feel that those foundational skills are key in creating a true understanding for math to help grow a better understanding for the level you are on! Math is a true passion of mine, and I love seeing when it finally ‘clicks’ for my students. We learn to understand how the math we learn relates to the real world and use “learning through play” techniques to help us practice!
