About Serena
Trained in International Relations and International Communication with a Master in Export Management and International Projects Development, I am Project Manager and Head of the Bologna Centro area for accredited translation agencies. The working languages are English and Portuguese and the areas of expertise vary from marketing to tourism, from the legal and diplomatic sector to the business world. I lived in Australia, Portugal and Brazil, where I worked as a translator for various national and international realities. I am also a teacher of both languages as an LS both privately and in some private institutes. I am a multi-tasking and multi-desking person, efficient in managing commitments by observing deadlines and results. I consider myself a person full of interests who loves risk: from aerial acrobatics to sport climbing, to theater, to artistic expression working with clay and all the activities in which he can give shape to physical and manual creativity and that connects it to context in which it moves immediately. For me, breathing means traveling and I consider myself a "citizen of the world". Languages and different cultures are my greatest passion. In teaching and translation it is essential to be able to perceive the intention beyond the literal meaning of the words and the versatility and experience acquired in different contexts is of great support to arrive at the expected result in this area.
