Adeline has extensive experience in both classroom and real world zoology giving her a deep knowledge in topics from evolutionary biology, anatomy and physiology, and ecology as well as practical animal care techniques, animal training, and ethics. She also was an excellent student and looks forward to helping students succeed!

Adeline is a good friend of mine and we've had several educational conversations. On the topic of zoology, I'm an amateur enthusiast so I've enjoyed being able to pick her brain about random tidbits I've wondered about. She has experience both in zoos and veterinary medicine, and she really knows her stuff. She does a very good job not only of explaining what she knows, but being willing to admit what she doesn't. When she comes across something she doesn't know, she readily finds a source for her position and we work together to bash out what exactly is being said and what its further implications are. It's a very engaging process.

When it comes to the general attitude and temperament necessary to teach, she owns two heeler dogs and has raised them to understand complex commands. If you don't know dogs, heelers are herding dogs with all the smarts, energy, and penchant for mischief of a bored redneck who's just had a brilliant idea that will revolutionize our understanding of ballistic engineering. And yet, she's got them trained and obedient.
