About Maela
My name is Maela. I’m a native Irish speaker from the Gaeltacht, I’ve a love for all things languages and culture. I loved to France four years ago to immerse myself in the culture and thanks to this experience I became fluent in French.
I’m extremely creative, into art and creative writing I also ply the banjo.
I love the craic, meeting people and making new connections.

I Really believe in a fun approach to teaching and learning. I’m a very lighthearted, positive and creative person, I bring that energy to each class to make the learning time enjoyable. The key to language learning is confidence therefore my classes are designed to make students feel comfortable and at ease. Students then start to feel more confident and in turn improve their language skills.
