About Chioma
I have been in the Performing Arts industry since the age of 3 with a background in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, and traditional African dance. In the past 13 years I have been able to establish and become one of the pioneers in the push of culture of Afobeats Dance. In this style, the freedom of expression is highly valued. From my perspective, I wanted to always push my culture (Nigerian Background) as well as keep the structure of my trainings, which I can say I have done just that. I currently own a Performing Arts/Entertainment company (B Chii Branded) where I hire and curate a space for the performing arts worldwide. I have performed on stages and at venues such as The Barclays Center, The Ford Amphitheater, Made In America, World of Dance (Show), The Capital One Arena, The Filmore, and more. I have been opportune to be see on platforms such as BET, MTV, NBC, Good Morning America, Sound City Africa, Sound City Nigeria, BBC, Voices of America, FOX, and more. I have also been fortunate enough to take my talents globally to places such as the US, Nigeria, Istanbul, Ghana, Jamaica, Canada, and more.

My lessons consist of not only building skill set but building your confidence. I make sure that each student does not feel like they are in a typical class, in my experience it’s nerve racking to always feel like you’re being critiqued. I find ways to teach using general knowledge that students know to stimulate my students minds and once it clicks it naturally helps the to apply instructions to the dance moves (proven method).
