About Jodie
I am an enthusiastic teacher who cares about creating a safe, learning space for students. I have 4 years of experience teaching English and that includes teaching ESL. I am a Stellenbosch University graduate. In my undergrad, I did a BA in Humanities(English, Psychology and Sociology) and during my postgrad, I did a Postgraduate Certificate of Education(English).

I believe in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment in which students can thrive. I am a native English speaker, majored in English in university and am currently teaching English in classrooms in Cape Town, South Africa.
A typical lesson with me consists of identifying your struggles or area that you would like to improve on. We will then strategize on how we can maximize our time together and conduct lessons according to your personal needs.
