As a tutor, I focus on creating a positive, supportive learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building real confidence in their abilities. I know how challenging these subjects can seem at times, and I love finding ways to break down tough concepts so they feel clear, manageable, and even fun!
Every lesson starts with a quick review of what we’ve covered so far, followed by an introduction of new concepts. We then work through examples together, gradually moving to independent practice while I provide guidance and feedback. I always leave time at the end for questions, clarifications, and setting small goals for the next session.
Having worked in consulting and technical research, I’m skilled at explaining challenging ideas clearly and making connections to real-life applications. I take pride in helping students not just get the right answer, but understand the “why” behind it.
Who My Lessons Are For
Middle school and high school students : math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics), science (general science, chemistry, physics, biology)

Stephanie helped me during my first year of university with calculus. She is very patient, understanding and knowledgeable. She doesn’t rush the teaching process and taught at a speed I could understand.
Over the past year, Stephanie and I have had the pleasure of working together as colleagues. We got to know each other via our love of learning, and I've seen directly how committed she is to her students.
Stephanie has a really comprehensive, patient, and engaging teaching style. Her ability to simplify difficult mathematical ideas into manageable chunks allows her students to study in an engaging and accessible way. Her dedication to promoting the success of others is incredibly inspiring.
One of my favourite memories of working with Stephanie was the substantial grade improvement she was able to achieve for a struggling student. With her individualised instruction and unceasing support, the student not only became more self-assured in their mathematical skills but also showed a sincere interest in the subject.Stephanie has my highest recommendation for the Superprof community. She is a superb tutor who truly cares about her students' success and will go above and above to make sure they meet their objectives.
I was struggling with linear algebra, especially matrix transformations. Stephanie was super patient and used visual aids that made the concepts much clearer. It wasn't just about getting through the material; she made sure I actually understood it. I’m really grateful for her help.
