About Lydia
I have a B.A in mathematics and spent 3 years teaching middle school math and science before accepting an offer to spend 2 years with the Peace Corps to teach English and science in Costa Rica! Since returning, I have continued to love helping students achieve their academic goals.

I offer mathematics tutoring for all grade levels consisting of conceptual discussions, warm encouragement and many, many practice problems. I believe that all students are capable of reaching their mathematics goals with a little encouragement and a lot of hard work. With five years of teaching experience, I have the tools to help kids conquer their math fears.
I am also fluent in Spanish and offer Spanish conversation tutoring for all levels.
