About Dhruv
My name is Dhruv and I am offering online and in-person tuition for A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I just graduated from Queen Elizabeth’s School last year and received all A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. This has given me a thorough understanding of the process of acing those tricky maths exams. I firmly believe that exam proficiency is not determined by natural ability. The true key to success lies in diligent practice and a deep understanding of exam technique. When you choose me as your tutor, you can expect nothing less than the highest of standards with my students needing to complete at least 2-3 hours of set work each week. I am flexible on teaching in-person or online and willing to offer a free first trial lesson so you can determine if you enjoy my teaching style. I currently attend Imperial College London, which has been recognised as the 2nd best university in the world (QS Top Universities World Rankings 2025) and I am also Enhanced DBS cleared so fully qualified to teach.

A typical lesson would last 60-120 mins and be conducted online or in person depending on location and availability. I welcome all students looking to study at their dream university by acing their maths exams. My lessons are catered to each and every student and target specific weak areas of study based on an initial consultation. A lesson would start with a look at any questions or papers completed during the previous week and go over corrections. Then I can either assist with a specific topic that is particularly weak or give further materials to complete under my supervision. I end with a quick maths puzzle to remind students that learning is fun. My style of teaching is incredibly rigorous and requires at least 2-3 hours of homework to be completed by the student each week and a general interest in learning.
