About Rose
ESL teaching is part of a nine-year tutoring career during which I have supported 410 students building practical English skills for work, family, and daily life. My own experience working with newcomers to English-speaking countries gave me a strong practical grounding in what students actually need to communicate confidently. I bring a structured, thorough approach to every lesson, believing steady organized progress produces more reliable results than occasional intense study sessions. Students often arrive frustrated after slow progress elsewhere, and rebuilding a clear sense of direction is usually my first priority with a new student. Vocabulary is grouped into thematic clusters connected to real situations like work, healthcare, and daily errands, which consistently improves retention compared to isolated word lists. I encourage short, consistent daily practice outside lessons rather than infrequent long study sessions, a principle that reliably produces stronger results. Detailed long term notes track every student's progress carefully throughout our work together.
