About Ami
Hello and welcome! I’m an enthusiastic and committed Afrikaans tutor, currently completing my Bachelor of Education degree in the Intermediate Phase. With a solid academic background and a passion for helping learners grow, I strive to make every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and tailored to individual needs. What sets me apart is my patient and creative teaching style. I’ve completed specialized courses such as *Klankeland* and the SGDT Dyslexia Training Program for Teachers, equipping me with the skills to support learners with language and reading challenges effectively. Whether your child needs extra help or wants to improve their Afrikaans, I offer a calm, encouraging space where they can build confidence and succeed. I teach in both Afrikaans and English, and work especially well with Foundation and Intermediate Phase learners. My lessons include a mix of structured content, interactive activities, and creative methods that make learning Afrikaans fun and rewarding. I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey!
