About Lauren
Hi! I’m Lauren Latimer, but most people call me Lay. I have a passion for helping students succeed in reading, grammar, and Language Arts. Whether it’s learning where to place commas, understanding figurative language, or improving reading skills, I make lessons fun, clear, and customized to each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Chick-fil-A—especially the pineapple dragonfruit lemonade and Polynesian sauce! I also enjoy listening to music, especially BLO, and spending time with my friends and family. I believe learning works best when you feel supported, encouraged, and confident—and that’s what I’m here to help with!
