About Ryan

I’m Ryan Purvis — a strategic technologist, AI product leader, and former CIO with over 20 years’ experience applying computer science and advanced mathematics in global businesses. Now, I help students like you not just pass — but understand. Whether it’s algorithms, calculus, or code, I’ll break it down in a way that’s real, clear, and tailored to you. I’ve built platforms, led teams, and mentored professionals — and I bring that same clarity and focus to every tutoring session. University, A-Level, GCSE? Online or in-person? Let’s turn confusion into confidence — and grades into goals achieved.

About the lesson

Whether it’s passing exams, mastering code, or finally understanding calculus — I make complex topics simple. With years of real-world tech experience and a Computer Science & Maths background, I teach in a way that actually makes sense. No judgement, no jargon — just results. Perfect for GCSE, A-Level, university, or anyone who wants better grades and less stress. Online sessions available. Let’s make your success unstoppable.

I have had a few lessons with Ryan now for maths, I had my first lesson the same day of contacting. I recommend Ryan because he has shown patience, as I definitely struggle in this subject. He has tailored lessons to help me learn in a way he has seen I learn best, he did this by recommending and sharing links to helpful resources and apps.

What’s especially helpful is, Ryan focuses on the real logic behind problem-solving/formulas, etc, to help the depth of my understanding on WHY we do things in a specific way and how it will help as we progress within more challenging topics.
