Brian's teaching method is to analyze your most recent online/tournament games to find your mistakes.
A Typical 30-Minute Free Lesson:
1. Say hi, introduce yourself!
2. He will play a 10+5 Lichess game with you.
3. Analysis!
A Typical 1-hour Lesson:
1. Warm-up exercises (~10 minutes)
2. Analysis of your most recent online/tournament games (~10-20 minutes)
3. Ways you can avoid those mistakes (~10-20 minutes)
4. If he and you have extra time, he'll play a quick game with you.
At 9 years old with a 1900 USCF rating, he offers relatable peer-to-peer coaching that adult instructors cannot mirror. He uses interactive, gamified Lichess lessons to simplify complex concepts and build tournament confidence in young players.
