My classes or tutorials are generally divided into 3 parts: preparation, activity and review. Although it is a general structure, I try to make them as free as possible according to the students I am working with. During the preparation, I like to start with a short breathing exercise, with the aim of relaxing the body and mind so that we can sit doing different academic activities for a while. In this part of the class the objectives of the session are made clear. For example, define the arguments of an essay to be carried out, collect relevant bibliography or make a list of tasks to be done (it can be 10 to 20 minutes). During the second part of the class we proceed to carry out the activity in order to meet the objectives. From doing an accompanied reading in order to improve reading skills, text creation and writing and argumentation skills. In the third part of the class, we make an account of what happened, a review of the content and activity of the session and a plan for the next session or for the next study days. Some classes are aimed at students who are about to graduate from college (high school) and are unsure of their critical reading, writing, argumentation and form skills. Especially for people who are interested in studying a career that includes a high intensity of reading and writing (generally humanities, but also for social communication). I do immersive preparation courses for these careers. Other classes are geared toward junior school students, elementary through middle school, who need to reinforce their reading, writing, grammar, and form skills.
