About Arnab
I am Arnab Sarkar, a second year Ph.D. student at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge. My current research involves studying the physics of stars like our sun, but ones that are in close proximity to another star. We call them binary stars, and their physics is much more exotic and vibrant than single stars.
I believe that a good grasp on fundamental physics and mathematics (for instance, Newton's laws and calculus) is crucial in understanding the more advanced stuff like the evolution of binary stars. Therefore, in my several years of teaching, I have focused primarily on in-depth understanding rather than superficial knowledge. If given the chance, I will continue to do so :).

I believe am well experienced in teaching, because I regularly teach second and third year maths and astronomy undergraduates in the University of Cambridge, and so now I would like to delve into teaching high school students.
