About Tomoki
I am a masters student and I have been passionate about cooking my whole life. I have an extensive background in north eastern Asian cooking (Mainly Japanese). I have lived in China and can bring those recipes forward, as well as having taken cooking classes in Italy for classic recipes such as Pasta Bolognese & Carbonara.
I can teach various recipes from American BBQ, Japanese comfort food staples, Chinese Stir Fry, Korean dishes, Italian pasta dishes, Mexican Street food, and sourdough bread making.

My approach to teaching cooking starts from the level that you are at (if you would call yourself a beginner, intermediate, or experienced home cook) and we would both work from there.
I can teach:
- Recipes (Asian, Mexican, Italian, American)
- Techniques (Dicing, Julienning, poaching, etc.)
- Styles (Baking, Meat based diets, Veggie based diets)
- Kitchen FAQ’s (ex. How do I keep avocado from browning? How can I reuse potato peels? What do I do with fruit rinds?)
