Real-life connections: I relate lessons to things children already know (toys, food, hobbies, family, etc.) so learning feels familiar and meaningful. A Typical Lesson Plan (45–60 minutes) 1. Warm-Up (5 minutes) Quick conversation, review, or a fun starter activity (a riddle, mini-game, or recap question). 2. Introduction (5 minutes) I present the goal of the lesson in simple language: “Today we will learn how to…,” along with a quick example. 3. Guided Practice (15–20 minutes) We work through examples together using visual aids, drawing, manipulatives, or mini-stories. Students answer easy questions to check understanding. 4. Independent Practice (10–15 minutes) Short activities: worksheets, games, reading, or math problems depending on the subject. I assist only when necessary so the student gains confidence. 5.
