About Pushti
I am genuinely passionate about learning and teaching English. English is my second language which means I understand firsthand exactly what it feels like to navigate a new language from the ground up. I have an A- (3.7 GPA) in ENGL 102: Case Studies in Research at university level and a band 7 on my first attempt at the IELTS, placing me in the top range of proficient English users worldwide.
I understand what it takes to become a master of English and this makes me an effective and empathetic tutor. Speaking three languages gives me a unique advantage as a tutor. So, as someone who has sat in your place learning to untangle grammar rules, increase vocabulary, and communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently in a second language I know what you’re going through. My students can expect a tutor who truly understands as learning English as a second language is hard, and I’ve been there. They can rely on my strong academic results grades and IELTS score that reflect a high tested level of English proficiency. Each session is held in a warm, non-judgmental space where progress happens fastest. And every time they can count on lessons that are prepared, purposeful and targeted directly to them.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
The teaching method is based on patience, repetition, and real dialogue. Confidence is key when it comes to learners who have never spoken English before. That’s why every session provides an environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes in their journey to fluency.
My methods are conversation immersion, grammar lessons, visual learning tools, and vocabulary building with real-world situations. I teach students to use language in practical ways so that it makes sense to them, rather than teaching rules about language in the abstract.
The rhythm of each session (50 mins) is clear and comfortable
Starting with a warm-up conversation to warm up, gain confidence and review the previous lesson. Next vocabulary and grammar focus, one clear concept presented with relatable, everyday examples. Then reading or writing practice a short text or guided writing activity to practice the concept. Next, an interactive activity maybe a game, dialogue, or real-life situation that makes the language feel useful and at end
review main points and a small doable task to practice before the next time. What Makes Me Different

English is introduced naturally and gradually, developing real comfort at each step, I understand the difficulty of learning in a new language and will adapt my teaching accordingly.
