About Mélodie
I'm Mélodie, I'm 28 years old, I'm currently studying marketing and digital communication. Before that I obtained a Chinese license at Rennes II followed by a BTS assistant manager and a Bachelor in communication. Even if I did not study English properly speaking, this language was always at the heart of my studies which required an excellent level of English. I have been passionate about English since CM2 and my level of 980/990 at TOEIC shows it. I also practiced a lot of oral English in Taiwan where I lived for a year during my studies. I have already given free English lessons at home to children of various levels who all showed progress which made me proud of them :) With my personal experiences, I am aware of the importance of having good knowledge of English in our very English-speaking world today and I really want to transmit this passion for the language to students who often shun the language of Shakespeare.

I base my teaching method on the children's school program. I fully adapt to the concepts seen in class, to the homework that children must do but always by including a playful side in teaching to avoid making it boring (through role plays, card games, film extracts or cartoon, online videos on Youtube). I also adapt to your objective according to the shortcomings of the students (press more on the written, oral, expression or understanding). Finally, I can also give 'extra' lessons to deepen certain notions already seen or just to be more comfortable in English in general. My main objective is to make children and adolescents love the language and show them the real interest to learn it well, because for me, motivation is the basis of all learning.
