About Rosie
University of Leeds student who achieved A grades in both French and German at A-level in 2020. I am extremely passionate about both of these languages and their rich cultures, hence my studying them at university, and hope to share my passion with others through my lessons. Whether in person or via video call, I hope to provide my tutees with a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary as well as awareness and understanding of francophone and German-speaking cultures.

I approach teaching as a very individual experience and personalise it for each student, whilst still maintaining a high standard of grammar and vocabulary in each lesson. A firm grasp of grammar can support even the most limited of vocabulary banks, therefore it’s paramount to understand the formation of different tenses and specialist terms, and how these translate into English in order to accurately convey the message you want.
If deemed suitable, I may set goals or tasks for the tutee to complete due for the next session. An example of this is completing mini vocabulary tests or kahoots, just to keep them practising constantly so they can build on their existing knowledge faster and better.
