About Meghan
Hi there, I’m Meghan!! Current student studying: History of Arts and Classics. I teach professionally GCSE English Literature and Language through a certified company, supporting students in building confidence and achieving strong results. With an avid love for literature and poetry, I have had four original pieces published in Young Writers anthologies, and I placed second in a borough war poetry competition. I achieved Grade 9s across my humanities subjects, including English Language, English Literature, and History, and I am now continuing with A-levels focused on essay-based disciplines.

I often find it's much easier to learn through discussion. I encourage students to talk through their thought processes and explain their ideas verbally so that we can work together on how to successfully translate it onto paper.
I work through a step-by-step process where I will not move on to the structure or more complicated context until the student has it correct.
Further, I want to work on what the student wants, and will ask them weekly what they are struggling with or what they don’t need to focus on anymore.
As a young student myself I believe I have a good understanding of how to make lessons more engaging and not just copy past questions.
With access to many resources through my current tutoring jobs I can supply, examiner reports, past papers, exam board info as well as create my own worksheet which helped me secure top grades at GCSE and hopefully will help the students too!!
