About Jaspreet
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active and exploring new experiences. I’m an avid runner and love going on long bike rides, especially when the weather is nice. Music is a big part of my daily life and you can usually find me listening to Diljit Dosanjh, Drake, or Bad Bunny. I also have a passion for travel and discovering new places, whether that means visiting a different country or simply finding a hidden gem in my home state. One of my favorite ways to connect with a culture is through its food, and Spanish cuisine is my favorite (I’m always excited to try a new tapas spot lol). I believe that having a wide range of interests keeps me curious and open-minded, qualities that I bring into my teaching as well. Life is about learning in all forms, both in and out of the classroom, and I try to share that perspective with everyone I work with.

Hi! I’m Jaspreet, a freshman at NYU’s Stern School of Business with over four years of tutoring experience across a range of subjects, including math, reading, Spanish, and Punjabi. I’ve worked with students from kindergarten through high school and specialize in personalized, one-on-one tutoring that’s built around each student’s learning style. I also help students prepare for the SAT—an exam I scored a 1550 on—by breaking it down into approachable sections and teaching practical strategies to build confidence and improve performance.
I love seeing students grow over time and believe that tutoring should feel supportive, flexible, and even enjoyable. I take pride in adapting my teaching methods to match each student’s pace and personality, and I welcome any materials or requests from parents and students to make sessions even more effective.
