About Lara
I am a third year student of Classics at the University of Oxford I greatly enjoy teaching others Latin due to the experience I have had learning it in my time at university. I have also studied papers in Roman literature, such as the Aeneid and Catullus, as well as Roman history subjects.

I aim to discuss the individual concerns and aims of each student and then compose a teaching plan to suit these needs. For example, if a student is particularly struggling with Latin Vocabulary, weekly tests and varying methods of memorisation will be employed. I find that language learning works best if the rules of the grammar system are learnt first, therefore within my lessons there will be an emphasis on learning key grammar concepts and then applying them to different texts.
