Jules is one of our best French tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Jules

I was born and raised in France. I am currently a student at Sciences Po Paris and I have already had several tutoring experiences within French public programs such as the Cordées de la Réussite or within a tutoring association in my home town of Avignon. I obtained 20/20 (maximum mark) in the two French Baccalaureate exams in 2020.
My philosophy is that of a holistic approach to the study of French in order to make its learning lively and adapted to the sensitivity of each individual

About the lesson

This course is designed for those who wish to improve their knowledge of French, whether in grammar, writing, dictation or oral expression. The courses can be general language learning (from A1 to C2) or preparation for the brevet and baccalauréat exams.
Passionate about literature, I wish to transmit my taste for literature and my methodology in order to overcome any barrier in French.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Jules.

Perfect! Jules is an outstanding teacher. He is passionate about teaching and wants to see you succeed. He considers your concerns about language learning. He has a lot of fresh ideas to help you learn and types notes during the lesson which he shares with you. He will try to customize and accommodate lessons to your demands to the best of his ability. He is very patient. He identifies your weak points and what you need to work on. His understanding of French grammar is superb. He will tirelessly work on helping you pronounce French words. Without a doubt, the best language tutor I have had. He will teach you practical French within the proper cultural context. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jules to anybody who wants to improve or learn French at any level. He takes his time to explain concepts and is determined to explain them until you understand. He is motivating and pushes you to succeed in your goals. I feel like Jules really cares about his students. He answers all my questions enthusiastically. You can’t go wrong in selecting him as your tutor.

I know Jules because we studied together at Sciences Po: he was brilliant. Always available to explain a notion, precise and with a prodigious general knowledge, he is the perfect tutor! I had the chance to accompany him once with the Cordées de la Réussite association, to give voluntary tutoring: I learned a lot from him. Attentive, intelligent and educational, he is a well-rounded tutor!

Jules was my tutor in french when I arrived to Sciences Po Paris in France. Jules’ guidance helped me tremendously correct all the basic pronunciation mistakes I was making before I arrived to France as well as enrich my vocabulary and grammar and perfect my writing. He is always open to conversation in order to help you with exactly what you need to flourish. Jules is always well prepared and professional but also creative, energetic and fun to work with! He has lived in France all his life where he has achieved academic excellence in general and especially in the french language, but at the same time Jules masters the english language and is extremely capable in teaching french to english speakers. I wholeheartedly recommend Jules as a tutor to anyone regardless age or level, as he has experience with both young children, middle and high school students as well as young adults like me!

Long time friend of Jules, I had the opportunity to do many projects with him within his association of schooling and alphabetization in Avignon. Faced with a public in great difficulty in French, Jules knows how to be patient and to level his teaching to that of the students. Many of his students have gone on to pass the DELF exam and are now successfully integrated into society.
